El  presente  documento  surge  de  un  estudio  desarrollado  como  respuesta  a  una  solicitud  de asistencia técnica elevada a la secretaría del Climate Technology Centre and Network (CTCN), por  la  Unidad  de  Planeación  Minero  Energético  de Colombia (UPME)  a  través  de  la  Entidad Nacional Designada de Colombia (END) (la Dirección de Cambio Climático).

The national workshop, held in Accra on the 26 th of October, presented the scope and objectives with the CTCN assistance for a wide range of national stakeholders. The national workshop was followed by a number of stakeholder meetings aiming at further understanding and describing the needs and requirements for the assistance. The outcomes of the national workshop and additional stakeholder meetings is compiled into this needs assessment report describing the requirements for the CTCN assistance.
